Stilo is the most characteristic point of the area. The lighthouse stands in Osetnik, about three kilometres north of Sasino — one of those attractions that does not take all day yet stays in memory.
What it actually is
A steel tower from 1906, one of only two in Poland built entirely from bolted cast-steel elements. It is 33 metres tall and stands on a forested dune 45 metres above sea level, so the viewpoint at the top is really high.
How to get there from our cottages
From Sasino to the car park in Osetnik is about 5 minutes by car (or 15 minutes by bike on a forest road). From the car park to the lighthouse itself leads a walk through pine forest — about 1000 metres uphill.
