Sasino lies in the Choczewo municipality, a dozen kilometres from Leba. It is not a resort with a promenade and a hundred fry stands — and that is exactly why people come back. The closeness of forest, dunes and sea makes even a short stay feel like real rest.
Day 1 — Stilo lighthouse and first walk on the beach
Start with the Stilo lighthouse. It is about three kilometres from us, towards the sea. It does not take all day, yet immediately gives you your bearings: from the top you see the Baltic, the dune belt and the forest you will cycle through tomorrow. Then walk down to the beach and simply be — there are no crowds here and no sunbeds for hire.
Day 2 — Leba and the moving dunes
Leba is about 20 kilometres away. It is worth going in the morning, because the dunes in the Slowinski National Park are most crowded midday. The trail to the moving dunes is a walk in full sun — do not go without water and head cover.
Day 3 — by bike through the forest
On the third day do not plan anything big. Rent a bike or walk deep into the forest — the local roads are quiet and the terrain flat. It is also a good day to stay in the cottage: grill on the terrace, evening by the fireplace and a really long dinner.
